Wen-Xiu Ma

Dr. Wen-Xiu Ma is a Professor for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of South Florida. He obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics & Mathematical Physics at Academia Sinica (1990). Dr. Ma has been a university distinguished professor of Fudan University through State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, an overseas chair professor of South China University of Technology, and an extraordinary university professor of North-West University, South Africa and King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Ma's research interests include applied mathematics, mathematical physics, nonlinear sciences, quantum field theory and symbolic computations. He has been Editor-in-Chief of Partial Differential Equations in Applied Mathematics, Asian Journal of Mathematics and Physics, and International Journal of Engineering Mathematics and Physics. He was recognized as one of top 2% world scientists by Stanford University, and in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics. The Highly Cited Researcher List presents the top 1% most cited for their subject field and year of publication.
