Angela M Hill, PharmD, CPh, RPh, is the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs and Professor in the USF Taneja College of Pharmacy. As Associate Dean, Dr. Hill serves as the Project Manager for WE-CARE (Workgroup Enhancing Community Advocacy Research & Education), a community-based participatory research entity, that boosts the participation of diverse populations in clinical studies with the goal of reducing healthcare disparities. She is a co-leader in several projects through WE-CARE such as a Cancer Prevention and Health Awareness Initiative that includes education on tobacco cessation and health and cancer screenings, a Faith and Pharmacy initiative, Mental Health and the Pandemic, and Vaccination Hesitancy Projects. Dr. Hill has also coordinated workshops over the past two years with academic and pharmacy practitioner colleagues in Lagos, Nigeria (Africa) on topics pertaining to COVID care, immunization, and pharmacy practice to help meet the health and social support needs of underserved communities in Africa. She also works with community-based organizations like The National Healthy Start Association, REACHUP, Inc., Project Link, and numerous community-based and faith-based groups. WE-CARE provides education and has coordinated vaccination events during the pandemic. Dr. Hill also serves on the Board of Directors for Health First African Ministries, which raises funds for medications, clothing, and medical supplies for children in Africa. Her clinical work focuses primarily on neuropsychiatric conditions and gerontology. She has worked throughout her career to improve the care of people with dementia and other chronic disorders and prides herself in educating patients, clinicians, and caregivers about appropriate medication use. She currently serves patients at Reliance Medical Center. Dr. Hill is the 2022 recipient of the ASHP"Association of Black Health-System Pharmacists (ABHP) Joint Leadership Award. The award was established in 2009 to recognize people whose exceptional leadership has helped reduce racial and ethnic disparities in healthcare.
