Douglas Haladay

Professor

Douglas Haladay, PT, DPT, PhD, MHS is presently professor, Director of the School of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Sciences, and Associate Dean in the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida. He graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science in 1994 and subsequently completed a Master's in Health Science at the University of Indianapolis (2000), Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Temple University and PhD in Kinesiology at the Pennsylvania State University (2011). Prior to his role at USF, Dr Haladay held faculty positions at Penn State Hazleton, University of Scranton, and MGH Institute of Health Professions. He has published and presented nationally/internally and has obtained federal funding to support his research which focuses on the examination and management of persons with low back pain. Dr. Haladay is specifically interested in the measurement of patient outcome his work, on the feasibility of Goal Attainment Scaling for patients with chronic low back pain, serves as a foundation for his current line of research.
