David Rosengrant

Professor

Dr. Rosengrant is the Campus Dean for the College of Education at USF on the St. Petersburg Campus. He is also a Professor of STEM Education. His research focuses on Physics Education as well as Educational Technologies such as eye tracking, gamification, and augmented/virtual realities. He is now in his 8th year as part of the USF family. Prior coming to USF he was at Kennesaw State University for 9 years in their Physics Department. He holds his Educational Doctorate from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in Science Education where he specialized in Physics Education. He used his experiences as a high school Physics Teacher at Bucks County Technical High School in Levittown PA to cement his passion for helping education in multiple capacities. He obtained his Masters of Arts in Teaching and his Bachelors of Science in Astro-Physics from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Rosengrant has received multiple awards for his teaching as that is his true passion. He is also a prolific researcher with his publications from multiple journals being cited over 2000 times and grant funding totaling over $14 million.
