Madison Pollino
Assistant Professor of Instruction
Madison Pollino, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Instruction and Director of Public Speaking in the College of Arts and Sciences Department of Communication. As a critical interpersonal communication scholar, her research and teaching seek to transform campus communities into welcoming spaces where students, faculty, and staff of all genders, identities, races, cultures, and/or socioeconomic statuses feel empowered and are not confined by discriminatory systems and structures that privilege dominant social groups. She received her BA from Temple University, Her MA in Communication Studies from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and her Ph.D. in Media and Communication with an emphasis on Interpersonal Communication from Bowling Green State University. Some of her recent awards include the Excellence in Graduate Student Teaching Award, and the Dr. J. Michael Sproule and Dr. Betty Ann Sproule Award for Excellence, School of Media and Communication, Bowling Green State University.
