Wenyu Guo
Assistant Professor
Dr. Wenyu Guo is an Assistant Professor of Literacy Studies at the University of South Florida, Tampa. Her research is at the intersection of language, literacy, race, and transnationalism, with a particular focus on the ways racialization functions surrounding language and literacy practices of transnational youth of Color and their families within transnational migration contexts. Dr. Guo is an Early Career Educator of Color Leadership Award Fellow for the National Council for Teachers of English. Her scholarship has appeared in journals including the Bilingual Research Journal, Journal of Childrens Literature, and International Handbook of Literacies in Families and Communities, etc. She is also deeply involved in educational and literacy organizations, serving as a Research Committee member for the Literacy Research Association and the Childrens Literature Assembly of NCTE.
