Duellyn Pandis is a distinguished healthcare professional with a rich nursing and travel medicine background. She holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) and is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor and Director of Clinical and Faculty Practice at the University of South Florida's College of Nursing, where she plays a pivotal role in educating and mentoring future nurses and nurse practitioners. Her relationship with the Port of Tampa led to her establishing the first nurse-run autonomous medical clinic. As Director of Clinical Practice, she oversees the College of Nursing clinics, which serve as training sites for nursing students. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she is the co-owner and president of Passport Health Tampa Bay. Her clinic specializes in travel medicine, offering vital vaccinations and health advice to travelers. This includes services such as typhoid and yellow fever vaccines, which are essential for international travel. In 2017, she opened a primary care practice to complement her existing travel medicine practice. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she organized testing and vaccination clinics for essential workers in several states. Since 2005, she has been a recognized vaccine awareness advocate and a subject matter expert in international travel medicine and vaccine disease prevention.
