Eleanor Rawson
Assistant Professor
Eleanor Rawson is an assistant professor at USF in the College of Nursing's Nurse Anesthesiology doctorate program and has been a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for 15 years. Dr. Rawson is the simulation coordinator for the Nurse Anesthesiology DNP program with weekly simulation labs for cohorts of almost 60 students and is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). She teaches many courses across the curriculum including Advanced Health Assessment, Nurse Anesthesia Role Development, and a senior comprehensive board review course. She currently serves as a committee member for the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) reviewing programs for INACSL endorsement and has presented at conferences on both the state and national level. She is also currently the chair of the USF Health Simulation Consortium committee. Her research interests include simulation, patient positioning, opioid-free anesthesia, and thermoregulation.
