Dr. Pushpak Taunk is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and serves as the Director of the Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship in the Morsani College of Medicine. He grew up in the Tampa Bay area, attended the University of Miami for medical school and did his internal medicine residency training and GI fellowship at Boston University Medical Center. He then went on to complete an addition year of training in Advanced Endoscopy at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Taunk joined the faculty at the University of South Florida. His interests include pancreaticobiliary diseases, endoscopic oncology and interventional EUS procedures.
