Dr. Jennifer Lewis is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry with affiliate status in the Department of Sociology at the University of South Florida. Dr. Lewis has been named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a Fellow of the American Chemical Society. She is a graduate of Bismarck High School in Bismarck, North Dakota, where her parents still reside. She received her undergraduate degree from North Dakota State University and her doctoral degree from Pennsylvania State University, both in chemistry, as well as a graduate certificate in evaluation from the University of South Florida. Her current research involves organizational change and measurement in chemistry education, and she works to improve the quality of data to support decision-making.
